It's been years since we last bowled together. So guys, go get your bowling balls and start practising.

Venue : Flamingo Bowl, Ampang
Date/time : 25th July 2009 @ 8pm
Fees : RM50 per person

Please confirm your participation by 18th July 2009. The piala pusingan is for the winner in the inter-batch
category. In order to qualify, each batch must have at least 4 players. For the male category, prizes will be
given to the top 10 players while for the female category, prizes are given to the top 3 players.

Basically this event is to foster siratul rahim among members, a form of excercise and also to raise funds for
our tabung. I do hope warga Ansara Kulim will turn up full force, whether or not they are playing. You are encourage to bring your family along but make sure your toddler wont rollover and becomes bowling balls.

Art show Fundraising

A Call for "I Miss Him So Much" Art Charity Fundraiser

Galeri Chandan would like to invite your good self to participate in an art charity fundraiser titled "I Miss Him So Much" scheduled for August 2009. Jointly organised by Killerbatch (an MRSM Kulim alumni group), Sabah Credit Corporation and Galeri Chandan, "I Miss Him So Much" is a project aimed at addressing the plight of students deprived of proper education. It is inspired by the heart-wrenching story of an 11-year-old Sabahan boy, Donni John Duin, who committed suicide to ease the burden of his poverty-stricken family.

You can participate in this fundraiser by submitting new or existing artworks based around the themes of education, unity, eradication of poverty, sacrifice or simply a tribute to Donnie.

Fifty percent of the sales of the artworks will bechanneled towards building hostels for SMK Tun Fuad Stephens, Kiulu, Sabah, so that students coming from remote areas of Kiulu no longer have to endure tiring long walks.The remaining fifty percent will go to the artist. As this is a fundraiser, you may also suggest your contributions.

Please email images of your artwork prior to submission. Your artwork along with your profile will be compiled in a catalogue which will also go on sale as part of the fundraiser.

This exhibition will be launched at Galeri Chandan's premises located at Damansara Heights which will be held sometime in the first week of August 2009.
